Synopsis:
Philippe Barr has been educated in Canada and the United States. His main interests focus on the history of the 18th century novel and the influence of urban space on first-person narratives of the late Enlightenment. He is currently working on a book on Restif de la Bretonne's Les nuits de Paris.
